For City Connectors
Your local knowledge. A practical contribution.
Know the area, speak the language or have a useful skill? Explore two ways to participate: introduce businesses to Shoujia, or offer a clearly defined local service.
Register your interest
Choose your participation path.
Referrals and local services are different activities. A referral introduces a merchant to Shoujia under an agreed attribution and commission arrangement. Local service work has a task, scope, deliverables and payment terms. You can express interest in both without assuming the same rules apply.
- Refer a business: explain the service accurately and let the owner decide.
- Offer a service: describe work you can complete and provide relevant evidence.
- Keep referral commission separate from fees for service work.
- Registration does not guarantee approval, assignments or income.
Build an honest, useful profile.
A good profile helps a merchant decide whether you fit their task. Describe what you can do, where you can work and how you communicate. Specific examples are more useful than labels such as “expert in everything.”
- City and realistic service area, including travel limitations.
- Languages and the level you can use for actual work.
- Services, relevant experience and permitted portfolio samples.
- Availability and any work you cannot accept.
Share only material you can use.
Your portfolio should be yours to share. Get permission before showing a client’s premises, identifiable people or confidential documents. Keep private information out of public samples.
- Explain your contribution to a collaborative project.
- Remove private contact details from documents.
- Do not invent clients, ratings or completed jobs.
- Do not imply a qualification that has not been established.
Make the scope manageable.
Before accepting a task, check the brief, travel, access, timing and deliverables. Ask questions early. If you cannot complete the work as described, propose a smaller scope or decline rather than overpromising.
- Confirm the outcome and delivery format.
- Agree fees and approved expenses before work begins.
- Get approval before doing additional work.
- Report an access problem or delay as soon as it becomes clear.
Understand what creates a payment.
Your commission or service fee depends on the terms agreed for that activity. A registration, a conversation or a link click is not automatically an eligible earning. Keep records that distinguish pending activity from confirmed amounts.
- Referral rates are individually configured, not a universal public rate.
- Read qualifying-event and refund conditions before promoting.
- A service payment follows its own accepted scope and terms.
- A payout request is separate from payment confirmation.
Common questions
Do I need a large following?
A large audience is not a prerequisite for expressing interest. Relevant local knowledge, reliable communication and suitable skills can matter more. The actual requirements depend on the work.
Must I speak Chinese?
Not necessarily. State your real language abilities and select work that fits them. Do not claim Chinese-language service merely because the platform serves Chinese-speaking customers.
Can I use this as proof of employment?
No. Registering interest or describing yourself as a connector does not establish employment, a work permit or eligibility to carry out paid activity. Assess your own circumstances before accepting work.
